Alternative Dispute Resolution
Under Law No. 144/2015 of 8 September, we inform you that, in the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may refer the matter to a consumer Alternative Dispute Resolution entity.
Alternative Dispute Resolution allows disputes between consumers and businesses to be resolved in a simpler, faster and, as a rule, less costly way than going to court. These mechanisms include mediation, conciliation and arbitration.
In the event of a dispute, the consumer may consult the updated list of Alternative Dispute Resolution entities available on the Consumer Portal at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
